Service Description
ATTN: THIS IS FOR THE WORKSHOP SESSION ON FRIDAY, JULY 12, 2024 AT 1:00PM This workshop requires no prior experience. The goal of this workshop is to create a hands-on learning experience for you to explore microcontroller technology. Participants will be introduced to basic circuit construction and programming. Hands-on projects will involve blinking LEDs, varying timing cycles, and displaying characters on a liquid crystal display (LCD). Optional projects will be presented involving Morse Code. INFORMATION FOR ARDUINO WORKSHOP ATTENDEES Bring a laptop with the battery fully charged and a power cord in case it is needed. Please note that the availability of plug-ins/extension cords may be limited. Prior to attending the session, please go to the software downloads for the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and download the version appropriate for your laptop operating system (OS). The software can be found at: https://www.arduino.cc/en/software Note: the session will be taught using Windows. Please bring a flash drive that can be used to copy the PowerPoint slides and example programs to use during the session as well as for future use. The Arduino kits we will be using will be distributed at the session. The cost was included with the session registration fee. The kits are yours to take home for further exploration.
Cancellation Policy
Participants must bring their own Windows laptop computer for the course. HamCon:Zion does not provide computers for the workshop.
